Action 1: Prologue
It was a very, very tiring day. I thought I could sleep well today.
Donghyun woke up and brushed his messy hair, but something was uncomfortable. His room, which had been clean until yesterday, was gradually breaking down and getting older. Then, he sensed a strange odor around him. It smelled like a mixture of human blood and vomit. 'Kyaaaah!' A weird voice’s scream was heard from outside. Surprised, he immediately tried to turn on the phone, but the phone did not connect to the Internet and the screen was blank. He calmed his pounding heart and looked out the small window. There were terrifying monsters walking outside, and they were destroying the neighborhood. Donghyun was mentally shocked.
Action 2: Climax
Donghyun covered his face and lay down with tears. He didn't know how many hours had passed, how many days had passed. He just thought that time was meaningless in this very frightening situation. However, he got up from his seat with a single determination to continue living. Then he went to the kitchen and picked up the knife that was on the table. With his trembling hands, he wrapped the tape around the right hand, which held the knife. He calmed his heart and finally opened the door.
A huge monster was passing right in front of the door. He closed his eyes tightly and killed the monster by stabbing it with a knife. Green blood covered his right arm. Soon after, he screamed like he was really crazy. With tears from both his eyes. One by one, monsters began to appear that could hear him scream. As if he was going mad, he slashed all the monsters randomly. He slashed down all the big monsters and small monsters, and he ran out of his neighborhood. Run, and run again, thinking he had to get out of here quickly. Unfortunately, waiting for him outside the town was a very big, ferocious looking boss-class monster he had never seen before. He was discouraged again. A huge monster hit Donghyun with one shot and laid him down, and he lost his mind.
Action 3: Ending
As a long, long time passed, Donghyun felt pain in his face and hands, he opened his eyes. When he opened his eyes, Donghyun was imprisoned in the interrogation room with his wrists handcuffed. Scary detective staring in front of him.
He asked Donghyun in a loud voice.
‘Why did you commit such an inhumane massacre?!’
Donghyun said to him in a tone that he didn't know anything about it.
‘The world is ruined, is the massacre meaningful? I am a hero who bravely fought with monsters to protect myself and my people.’
Angry at his words, the detective showed him files and photos of the people he had killed so far. Soon after, Donghyun's actions flash before one’s eyes. He smiled madly with tears in his eyes, realizing that he wasn't normal. After all, he was taken to a psychiatric hospital. Sat in a wheelchair, looking at the corridor with vacant eyes.
Still in his view, the corridors of the mental hospital were a bizarre, devastated world with monsters walking around here...

Project 3: Webtoon
Beautiful Epoch
Explanation:
Nowadays, we live in a times that where politics, literature, economy and technology are all more advanced than ever. Even in this world that shines brighter than ever in our history of mankind, so I wanted to draw a story in the darkest shadow, created by that bright light.
Summary:
The story of a man who belongs to the marginalized class, unlike the high-class apartment where the rich like, old and shabby apartment where same marginalized people live. The story of the greatest ‘Psychic Fear’ that the most people can feel like a ‘PARANOIA’.
Main Character:
Name: Kim Donghyun (The most common male name in Korea 1998’s)
Age: 18.03.1998
Appearance: Always expressionless, a common piercings, and too much bags under the eyes.
Personality: He try hard at everything, but he have skepticism about life where he can’t succeed no matter how hard he try.
Spoiler: In fact, he was paranoid. Everything he sees is a lie.
The Monsters:
This Monster is the first monster that Donghyun will encounter. He is holding a delivery box in his hand, and inside it has a human body. Don’t know why, the green liquid is continuing flowing through his body…
Spoiler: Actually, this monster was a delivery worker who delivered to the Donghyun’s house. So he’s wearing a cap and holding a box. In Donghyun’s delusion, humans sweat and blood appear with green colour. This man was sweating is because he just did hard work...
The second monster he met was a purple colour monster with a lot of eyes. This monster had a baby monster like a kangaroo. It looked like it was trying to protect the baby monster. Did monster have any affection…?
Spoiler: In fact, these monsters are Donghyun’s neighbors. He actually used to play with this baby monster on the playground when he came back from work...
The last monsters is made 0f muscles all over, and his eyes always look angry. It was a green Monster that Donghyun had never seen before, and behind it was a wrecked car, which it probably this monster did it. He was very strong…
Spoiler: This Monster was a detective who came to catch Donghyun. The car behind was a police car, and he knocked Donghyun straight down...

Final Webtoon
- Following the method of posting on the webtoon site, I uploaded my episode. I uploaded thumbnail 1, thumbnail 2, thumbnail 3 and my drawings.

Motion Comic Animation
- After Effects is still a difficult task for me. So I spent a lot of time on this. It was very interesting to explore and study this further. It is very enjoyable and proud to see my work gradually moving with After Effects.

Reflection
Experience
- My last project, "Webtoon & Motion Comic", was really interesting and fun. Especially when I was drawing digital illustration, I was very proud to see them gradually being completed in order. This was very time consuming as it involved a lot of panels and illustrations. I thought my wrist was broken haha. But it was a really good experience. If I have to draw an illustration later, I think I can complete it based on what I learned this time. And I especially had a hard time with After Effects, although I used Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator a lot, but I still don't know anything about After Effects like a baby. So to improve this, I tried watching a lot of lectures.
Observation
- I knew that every cartoon had its own style and feel. I learned that it's good to try various techniques, such as unique techniques and vivid techniques of artists. Also, I developed empathy for them by drawing the characters in the Webtoon. What would you do if it was me? What if I was in this situation? I thought and asked the same questions myself.
Findings
- Various approaches were required for cartoons and animations. Actually, it was a bit difficult because I didn't enjoy cartoons much, but through this project, I found the charm of webtoons. I come up with my own ideas, I make novels, and based on these I make webtoons and animations. It really made me feel like an artist. I also learned how many people's time and effort are needed to make all webtoons and animations. This project took the most time of all the projects I've done so far, and I'm even more proud of it.
