Research:
I first researched the layout of fashion magazines, posters, books, etc.
Then, I drew several sketches of the page layout and thought about what to use.
After that, I thought about what style of kimono I would like to illustration. When I talked with the group, opinions and images of examples came out saying that a simple sketch would be good.
After all the research was done, I started digitizing it.
Digitization
I first tried the layout design to fit the size (148x210 mm size). Then I completed two layouts that fit my illustration.
Then, I started sketching the kimono for my illustration.
After my illustration was finished, I applied typography and fonts to fit the layout page.
And after that, I put my illustration on this layout page and made it a bit more like a fashion book.
I tried several effects in the layout, and worked to make the illustration look softer than it looked.
Final Outcome Pages:
First Page
Second Page
And I was in charge of creating the book's cover, intro page, and mock-up.
