Project: AR project
Ideas:
Idea 1: Fashion Store
Fashion Store with AR Project:
These days, it is more common to order clothes using the online store rather than visiting the store in person. Online stores are easier and more convenient to use than physical stores, and you can shop for more types of clothes. But the downside is that you can't try on the clothes yourself. So the idea I had was, if you scan a piece of clothing, you can see who is wearing it to fit your body type. You can rotate various clothes 360 degrees and see the three-dimensional figure of the person wearing the clothes.
Idea 2: Vincent Van Gogh Museum
Vincent Van Gogh Museum with AR Project:
The museum is a very useful educational place. Every school goes on a field trip to the museum at least once. However, visiting such a famous museum is time consuming and expensive. It's well worth it, but very difficult for those who don't have the time and money to go. That is why educational museum AR will be helpful to many people. If you scan a photo related to a museum, you can hear information about the work or sculpture, and see more detailed photos. I chose Vincent van Gogh because he is my favorite artist.
Idea 3: League of Legends Voice
League of Legends Voice with AR Project:
League of Legends is one of the most famous games in the world. In particular, it is the most influential game in Korea that has not missed the number one spot for 10 years. There are characters you can choose to play in this game, and the most important factor in making this game number one is the story. All the characters have their own story, and they have stories that are fun enough to be pictograph in cinematics, webtoons, and dramas. And one of the most important elements in this drama or cinematic is the voices of the characters. These voices, played by voice actors who are well suited to each other, unfortunately cannot be heard in the game. So the idea I came up with was to scan a picture of a character and hear the voices by countries.
Week 2: Journey Map
This week we explore the process of mapping user experience using a Journey Map.

Week 3: AR Experiences
AR EXPERIENCE DESIGN: AR/VR/MR Difference
MOBILE PHONE: EXTENDS INFORMATION
VR: EXTENDS EXPERIENCE
AR: EXTENDS VISUAL
Task 1:
Identify what type of XR experience Is AR or MR? Describe why
First, I have to know about what is the difference between AR VR MR XR?
Mixed Reality (MR): a view of the real world—physical world—with an overlay of digital elements where physical and digital elements can interact.
Virtual reality (VR): a fully-immersive digital environment.
Extended reality (XR): an umbrella term that covers all these different technologies, including AR, MR, and VR.
Augmented reality (AR): is the integration of digital information with the user's environment in real time.
XR encompasses augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and mixed reality (MR). While all three 'realities' share common overlapping features and requirements, each has different purposes and underlying technologies.
Design for AR
Task 2:
Imagine the scenario in either of the two places. what would the AR experience be and what extended visualization can be useful? What do you want the user to feel?
1. Kitchen
2. Shopping Mall
3. Gym
Kitchen: Most of the time I kept forgetting how much longer does my cooking needs. Especially when I have several things going on. So if we have an AR wearable like the Google glass, perhaps a visual cooking timer can be displayed on top, counting down and will give notification sound cues when its about done. Might save me from burning down the house too.
Week 4: Scenes, Buttons & Navigation
Download the Unity app and try it out.
Week 5: AR Video and Video Control
Building on the skills you learned last week, you'll learn how to use audio and video controls within Unity skills.
Experiential Design Proposal
Put your proposal document/slides in your blog post. Record a video of yourself presenting your idea (with Camera on), and embed it into your blog post as well.

Final Project: AR/VR Application
Students will synthesize the knowledge gained in task 1, 2 and 3 for application in task 4. Students will create integrate visual asset and refine the prototype into a complete working and functional product experience.
